So I realise I have not posted for a long time, but life has changed quite a lot. G went to hospital in June last year with severe pancreatitis & they almost operated to remove some of his pancreas. They gave him detox meds while he was in there and yesterday he had done 9 months alcohol free. I don't know if anyone reads these posts but I wanted to post just in case.
Unfortunately tonight he has had pancreatitis again & been taken to hospital. I was in holiday last week & instead of alcohol we treated ourselves with cake and chocolate so wondering if that's why it came back. I don't think he will go back to drinking as he knows it will kill him. May have to watch the diet more.
